A crisp evening from one of my favourite spots, paper on board, precariously balanced on the wall of the cow’s field. Every gust of wind wanted to send it sailing into the field with THE BULL!
It was a challenge to draw the cows before they moved or I froze! The odd dog walker or runner flew past along the tow path in front of the Lock-keepers cottage and the beautiful Five Rise Café.
Damart stood majestic in the evening light speaking of things gone by or maybe to come! The old firestation quietly raised its red head. An occasional crow completed the idyllic scene..
